Our colonial era Tavern catered to the Vermont Green Mountain Boys and the politically influential folk. As it stands today we are the oldest bar in the state of Vermont. Our food ranges in a variety of ways classic American comfort food with a variety of options of seafood, stake, game meat, pork, and pasta based dishes.

    As a long time Winter resident of Manchester the Marsh Tavern/Chop House has been a staple in our weekend itinerary. It has been several years and the Marsh Tavern was phenomenal as always. The Tavern/Falcon Bar holds the fondest memories of my godfather and I am already booking my next trip back

    We had a lovely dinner at The Chophouse. The service was wonderful despite the fact that they had a full house due to the early spring winter storm. Everything in town was shut down and we were expecting things to be challenging for a restaurant in a hotel where people were pretty much stranded for the evening - but it was a lovely evening and the restaurant handled everything so well. Eating there is an experience, so I would not go if you don’t have at least an hour to an hour and a half for a fine dining experience. I hope I am able to visit again someday. The food and service were outstanding. Highly recommend the chicken roulade and the sea bass!
