Located right in the heart of the town's High Street and Citadel, The George Grill is the restaurant of The George in Rye, one of the finest hotels on the South coast.     Consistently great place for any occasion, did not disappoint this time either. Menu was as creative as ever, staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable and gave some good wine recommendations. Great to see even more local wine on the list too.

    This is a local for us, every time we come the food always exceeds our expectations. The pub has a pleasant feel and good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming, trying to meet your needs. I would 100% recommend this place if you want fabulous food, a warm atmosphere and friendly service.

    A thoroughly exceptional meal from beginning to end. The attention to detail and craft across all our plates was truly wonderful. The wine recommendations were spot on from a wine list that starts with a whole page of local wines. The staff were superb, clearly as passionate about the food and overall experience as we were.
