Alora is the creation of Nottingham Chef, Kieran HaughKieran started out at 16 as a trainee Master Chef of Great Britain for 3 years before cooking at several prestigious eateries including Maize by Gordon Ramsey and Tom Kerridge’s, two Michelin starred Hand and Flowers in Marlow. Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

Second time at Alora and we tried the Sunday roast. Was the best roast we have ever had. Great value for money and good quantity. Lovely service and made to feel very special (on my birthday). Will definitely be visiting again soon
