The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. Service was excellent from the one very busy but super efficient waitress. Would benefit from another member greeting and seating perhaps Always excellent food, I will always return Well done The Jones’s 🙂

We had a lovely lunch here today, have visited on many occasions the past 5 years while our daughter has been at Uni and the food is always excellent. Atmosphere today was lovely, very festive and food and service was top quality.

Lovely Welsh Rarebit starter. Main (Ham) was a bit mish mash, and too much. Menu didn’t really suit me.
