Restaurantes cerca de Harbor Heights - Ocean & Bay Views with Beach Trail

We decided to escape the Mardi Gras this year and travel. Our first stop will take us to the redwood forest out side of Eureka. So, we chose the Moonstone Grill for dinner As soon as we entered the restaurant, the hostess greeted us with a friendly smile. We immediately felt welcomed. The place seemed to be full of locals enjoying what appeared to be a neighborhood restaurant. That’s a good sign to us. My wife had the clam chowder and the beet salad as her entree. She believed the chowder was the best she’s every had I had the pot roast. It was absolutely delicious. Our only complaint is that we will probably never eat here again. It is fabulous. Thanks

I've always had marvelous food at the Bear River restaurant except for this last time, which was Valentine's evening. The chicken breast, which was quite large and nicely cooked, had no sauce. no sauce at all. So... I was disappointed to say the least. I've had salmon picatta at that restaurant and it was beyond delightful with zesty, lovely sauce. This time, it was a big nothing. My friend had the scallops wrapped in bacon. First, the bacon was barely cooked, and again NO SAUCE. I'm afraid this restaurant is now pretty far down on my list.

Everything was great, except the Fettuccine needed more garlic. Our waiter was fantastic and apologized for the salad being late, and didn’t charge us for one of our desserts. We are new to the area, and are so glad we found Gabriel’s-we will be back!!

Great food and attentive service. Enjoyed the evening very much.
