Our first time at The Altland House and everything was wonderful. We had a really nice table right in a corner window overlooking the Abbottstown Square waiting for us when we arrived, service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious and well portioned. Definitely a gem in the middle of nowhere.

It was really nice to see all three bartenders ( Justin, Josh, and Matt ) wearing a vest and a tie. Very nice touch for the Christmas Season !! We both had the Mushroom Bisque .... fantastic !! Both also had the Tortellini - one of my favorites - goes very well with the fresh bread. Service .... when you sit at the bar and have three super bartenders .... what else can you say !! Always a great time - looking forward to being there New Year's Eve

Our server was very kind and responsive and the shrimp tacos are awesome.

Great service- amazing dinner entrees and dessert. Pork Shank was tender, generous, and moth watering, presented in a lovely way with sweet potato mad, charred Brussels, and a nice complementary sauce. Would definitely order again- and will return to try some lunch options too. A bit noisy with holiday gatherings and a Saturday night wedding reception- to be expected- not bothersome in any way for our party but your mileage may vary.
