Our pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere and an ‘Olde Worlde’ feel. Our award winning public house has a reputation for quality food.Jacque and the team at The Fountain Inn welcome you to our friendly establishment, where we try to serve good quality fayre at a reasonable price with a focus on cleanliness, safety and old fashioned values in service and training.Our full timers are Terry-Anne, Nick, Laura, Sammie and Annie and they are all here to ensure you enjoy your experience with us.Our Office Manager is Shannon and if there is any information you require she will be glad to help in any way she can.Craig is our head chef with a wealth of experience and ideas, ably assisted by Kyle.Thank you for eating at The Fountain Inn at Clent and if you enjoy your visit please tell a friend, if not please tell us.Our large car park ensures space is available at all times for passing trade and tourers. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we adopt a 'order at the bar' service for all restaurant seatings unless pre booked party's of 10 or more. Please ask at the bar for more details on arrivalLocated on the ground floor directly off main reception Faradays offers a lunch menu from midday, and ala carte dinner menu alongside a selection of daily specials served each evening from 5.30pm to 9.15pm, which enables our of brigade of Chefs the opportunity to showcase their talents. The bar opens at midday and serves until 11pm after which time guests will be required to show proof of residency to obtain service. Bar closing time is at the discretion of the hotel management team each night. The patio overlooking the Waterfront provides panoramic views of the canal basin and should the weather turn inclement then you can still enjoy the outdoors in one of our new dining pods.

    Had a lovely meal in the conservatory .. whilst pub was fairly busy the service and food were very good. Wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again

    We attended on Christmas eve lunch time. It was not rushed even though we had limit of 2 hours. The waitress took our order and was very polite, calm and efficient. We had a party of 8 including a child and all have said it was one of the best places they have eaten in a long while at lunchtime. The atmosphere was good We Enjoyed it the food.

    Excellent service friendly staff. Food was exceptional especially the fish and chips it was so fresh and the batter was lovely and light along with a variety of sauces and homemade chunk chips. The seating area was Warm and cosy next to the log fire. We got to speak to the owner who is also the chef. Such a delight cannot thank you enough we will be back!

    Absolutely incredible - as always. My partner and I always pick The Fountain for special occasions and it never disappoints, incredible food, incredibly friendly and polite staff - you genuinely can’t get any better.
