We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. No shows and same day cancellations are the plague of the industry and we ask of you to uphold your end of this commitment as we are thrilled to provide on our end.

Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. We work closely with our local farms and purveyors to curate fresh, seasonal menus that feature regionally sourced meats, a rotation of fresh oysters and select seafood. All of our breads, pastas, and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Our Bar offers local beers, seasonal craft cocktails, and a well chosen wine selection. We are currently operating under all Covid-19 restrictions and following all CDC and local guidelines. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority.     Located in a beautiful location, i took the pork shank and it was a little under seasoned for my taste but my husbands fish was delicious.Dessert and drinks were great. Staff is very attentive and nice. Cant wait to go back!

    Gamekeeper was fabulous as always! Tanner, our server artfully directed us through our choices of food and libations. A cozy table by the fire and no pressure to leave until we were ready after s scrumptious dessert and coffee. A wonderful welcome memory to 2025!!

    Another amazing meal at Americano!! We visit here several times a year when we come up to our cabin. Absolutely love the food, ambiance and everyone on staff including the owner. The holiday specials were a hit this year with most of our table ordering the surf and turf, our son had the filet which is always amazing and I had the sirloin equally delicious. Broccolini was fantastic and well seasoned. The truffle fries, clam chowder, escargot, firecracker shrimp all amazing. The Caesar salad is usually a favorite among all but tonight was overdressed. Still good but definitely overdressed and I don’t think anyone finished theirs. Dessert we enjoyed bread pudding and crème brûlée and both were very good. The guys enjoyed their old fashioned and us ladies really enjoyed our cosmos and espresso martinis. This is a must visit Everytime and I’m so grateful we have this wonderful restaurant 10 minutes from our house!!
