Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests. When I was a child I grew up with my mother, grandmother and aunt. All of them were very good in the kitchen. They had different styles and they cooked every day. From ravioli, soup or patisserie, everything was made from scratch. Those ladies were my teachers. My first lesson was dishwashing, later it was helping as their assistant. To honor those amazing woman who helped me in my early days, I decided to open Tarquin to bring Sioux Falls our flavors, recipes and dishes. Tarquin is a piece of Buenos Aires in a remote corner of Sioux Falls commercial district. You are always going to be welcome here and we will always offer you our best.

El restaurante recomienda a los clientes fijarse en su homónimo al cruzar el umbral, donde aún sigue el logotipo original de Crawford de 1963. La decoración integra sin miedo elementos masculinos y femeninos: el Salvaje Oeste se une con el concepto romaní... desde el bar panelado de piel, la barra de cuarcita del bar, los reposapiés elaborados con vías de tren de hierro y las mesas de madera recuperada hasta azulejos vintage. papel tapiz adornado con piedras preciosas, candelabros marroquíes y columnas indias antiguas... ningún detalle queda al azar. Lo mismo se aplica a la comida: desde filetes de res de primera calidad hasta salmón salvaje, todos los elementos se cuidan con esmero. Excelentes menús de platillos para almuerzos y cenas, un bar completo, televisión de plasma de 58 pulgadas y chimenea.

Japanese A5 wagu tenderloin is where it's at if you don't mind the price but it's so worth it. Everything was fantastic, Morrie's is my new favorite place.

Food was excellent!! Long line. Too bad there aren't 4 lines to expedite the buffet. But overall very good. Thanks for being open on thanksgiving!!

Great service from bartenders to server. Even better food! Beef short ribs on bed of risotto! Great ambience as well! My new favorite dinner venue in SF! Well done!

The burgers were amazing. Our loaded barbacoa fries were room temperature and the guac was not great. Service was phenomenal as usual
