Just a mile down the hill from Goodwood Race Course we are 12 minutes drive from Chichester. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner we try to source our ingredients as locally and as seasonally as possible. Whether you are at a Goodwood Event or walking, cycling or just out for a drive and fancy a decent meal at reasonable prices, we like to think we are one of the best around. We have a great courtyard and garden space which can seat up to 100 people. Freshly ground coffee is available all day. Attended as a group of 6 for Sunday lunch, 2 beef 3 lamb and 1 pork. All meat's cooked to perfection and the accompanying veg all cooked well and delicious we all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch out we have had. We shared two desserts which were tasty. Good choice of drinks and everyone happy with their choice. The restaurant was busy but the service was attentive, food piping hot and nothing too much trouble. Well done.

The menu is very good and the staff behind the bar and at the table were super helpful and welcoming. Our only issue us the length of time between ordering and getting food to table. Happy to wait for good food but time did seem too long.
