Carnal focuses on the bold flavors of wood fire and caramelization balanced with acidic, raw, and seasonal elements. We are a passionate group of cooks who do not cut corners and hope that is evident when you try our food. Our signature dish is a bone-in beef rib that is sous-vide before grilling over an open wood fire and finished with rendered bone-marrow. We are a high-low, fine-casual concept making simple, seasonal American cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy, France, & Spain. Expect to see dishes that you are used to seeing at fancy restaurants & some you would typically find at a drive-thru or dive bar. but they all are served on a plate from Goodwill. Our menus are ever-changing, not just by the season but by the day. we embrace change, creativity & inspiration every chance we get.For groups of 2 people, we recommend ordering 4-6 dishes from the three sections of the menu (depending on how hungry you are!). for example - 2 snacks, 1 small share plate, & 1 large share plate.The food is designed to be enjoyed family-style.     While it "seems" expensive, in a way it's actually a bargain if you consider that many costlier restaurants don't serve food that is as good as Carnal. Flavor so good it becomes indelible in your memory.

    My husband and I share a birthday, so we went to the Admiralty to celebrate with our son. We arrived in time for Happy Hour and took advantage of the drink and bite specials. I ordered a Bee's Knees and parsnip chips and my husband ordered a Nameless One cocktail off the regular menu and and the jalepeno hush puppies . Both cocktails were delicious as were the starters. As a main, the three of us ordered the Imperial Swine, The Duck Breast, and the NY Strip Steak. Our orders came out in good time and all were cooked to perfection. Our server Chelsea did an excellent job and even provided a sweet Happy Birthday card to greet us for our special day. Overall, a great way to spend our birthday with our son.

    We go to Hearthfire regularly. The food was extra delicious tonight. Service was good. Always a beautiful place to go.

    Another excellent meal at Estelle. The chicory salad and the mussels were outstanding. The service from Tatiana and Grey was exceptional and very friendly.
