The building was originally the grocery section of the J.F. Cairns Dept. Store dating back to 1907. Taverna still maintains this historical charm and character, serving delicious, rustic, exceptionally well-prepared Italian food since 1969.     We celebrated our daughter’s 17th birthday. We enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the great service given, shout out to Shannon! Such a nice lady and very attentive. Will definitely go back! Superb!

    The restaurant was excellent with allergies and took everything very seriously. Our server was wonderful, asked what we were celebrating and even brought out a signed card from the kitchen at the end of the meal. The food was delicious and service was better than I could have ever expected.

    We had a business meal with 8 and I cannot think of anyway to improve our evening. Our single wait staff handled our entire food and beverage service professionally, friendly and quickly with absolutely no mistakes, she was The Best. The food is as it always is at Taverna, second to none. Wonderful appetizers, spectacular mains and a good selection of drinks to accompany any choice of food. We all had an evening to remember

    UNA as usual is great, there is just too many people in there and it’s too loud. I think they need a bigger location.
