Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating.     This was my second visit to Ashling. It is a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was attentive and friendly. Shout out to Carolina who responded to and anticipated needs. The food was served in a timely manner and hot. Even my delayed guests were able to get their food pretty quickly. Everyone loved their dishes and I will be back!

    I haven’t been in a while and decided to revisit. Usually after some restaurants open more locations, the food and service goes down. Food was really good, our server was slow.

    The Grove is a hidden gem. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It is a good place to go for a nice dinner with good size portions at a reasonable price. The ambience was nice with an upscale crowd. The hostess Ms. Ethel is very knowledgeable about The Grove and treated us like family. I highly recommend The Grove and will definitely return.
