The most amazing food i have ever tasted very talented staff and charles one of the main chefs his food is out of this world you have got to try this place amazing i will be back again

Regular visitoirs to the Swan at Whittington and this was as good as usual. The place is a nice gentle place for a quiet lunch with friends. Staff as alwqys were kind and pleasant. Food was good although we both had the Caesar Salad and it was a bit 'thrown together' - the look of the food was maybe not to the usual high standards but we saw the food brought to tables either side of us and it looked fantastic!

A lovely bar and restaurant with very attentive staff - a really good fixed and a la carte menu with something fur everyone - our meals were great including 3 x steaks which were cooked exactly as requested - they were very accommodating when asked to do a blue cheese sauce which wasn’t on the menu. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised with the cheeseboard selection as from experience this can be quite disappointing.

Four of us had lunch today. We ate from the main and set menus. Nice table location in the restaurant with plenty of space. Great food….the chef made a “special” Beef Wellington without the Parma ham for my wife who has a severe pork allergy. All the food was beautifully presented and delicious. Great service from the waiting staff…..and a fantastic choice of guest beers! Thoroughly recommend this wonderful gastro pub

Exceeded expectations. Food was to a high standard, tasty and cooked perfectly. Will be coming back next time in the area visiting family again
