The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59.     We visited for the £14.94 for two courses lunch. There was a fantastic number of dishes to suit all tastes and specific diets. Each course tasted amazing and the service was first rate with very quick, efficient and very friendly service. Our waitress Jackie was so bright and cheery and was a breath of fresh air. It was my partners first visit to Alberts, Standish and he now says it's his new favourite. Amazing value for such superb food we will be returning very soon.

    We had a delicious lunch off the festive menu. The table setting was lovely and the food very tasty. The staff were friendly and courteous. Well done, a great experience.

    Well greeted by the staff, good choice of food and drinks. Great service and food which was excellent was served hot and well presented.
