Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. This was probably one of the most unique dining experiences I have ever been to in my entire life. Me and my lady went here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food out of this world but the learning, the atmosphere, and the overall experience was worth every penny. We will 100 percent be back here!

I ordered the pear cocktail and the steak frites with a side of cheesy grits and everything was so delicious! My server was also so kind. I would definitely come back!

We moved away for a few years but recently returned to the area. We used to enjoy Hudson & Essex often! We finally made it back today for Sunday brunch and it was as good as we remembered! Varied menu, excellent service and delicious meals! We're glad to be back!

The food was great! We had a long wait as they had a huge party prior to our arrival but our server was awesome. It was my husband's birthday so because of the wait they up graded a desert for him!!
