Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK.     Tasty food, large portions and served hot. Service is very attentive but without feeling rushed. Great choice of vegetarian dishes and serving cauliflower rice instead of standard rice is a bonus. In fact, it is probably the best tasting cauliflower rice I have ever had.

    Excellent service and food as always. Our waitress was so approachable and helpful. We was served by the manager in one of our first visits years ago, and we can always tell his great customer service values are translated across all staff there, and the staff are doing a great job of making the manager proud. And the food?!!! Got to be the best place in the whole of Nottingham for food. So many different flavours and cuts of meat they never-not surprise us with what what insane flavours they have stored in their locker, and they are always super helpful with the menu and flexible if you need any to make any adjustments. We had a platter with two philly cheeseburgers, was our best order yet. Thanks guys🙏
