Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn is certainly Ye Olde, even by the standards of British country pubs. The building has been there for at least 700 years – nobody knows exactly how long it has stood on what is now Ludlow Road – and has been a pub since 1740, serving the traveller, the public of Bridgnorth and all others who entered their doors.     Absolutely outstanding! Very attentive, friendly and warm welcoming staff. The restaurant and toilets were immaculate and beautifully decorated. Such a warm homely atmosphere. The food was incredible and worth every penny! We’ll definitely be returning soon!!

    I love the fact that the staff remember you and offer a genuine welcome every time you return. The place was beautifully decorated for the pending Christmas Season and I was particularly taken by the new Christmas Cushions. We even had a chuckle with staff over whether I could get away with taking one home under my jumper! Keep up the good work and The Punch Bowl is definitely our go to place when we have friends staying as well as for other special occasions. Matthew Stafford
