The Cliff Hotel dates back to 1890 when the original hotel was opened, in 1915 the building was ravaged by fire and demolished. The old staff accommodation was renovated into a new hotel, the building that we currently occupy today. We have a vast selection of dining options from our relaxed art-deco inspired MUSE restaurant, our vibrant bar dining area or one of the biggest outside dining terraces in Norfolk. Wherever you decide to eat our menus will give you a huge variety of choice from fresh fish to steaks and grills.     The Lodge is our “local” and since its revamp it is our first choice when eating out with friends and family. We are always made to feel welcome, staff are friendly, and service, no matter how busy, is mostly pretty good. The Menu choice is excellent-we’ve eaten some pretty special, new to us, dishes. If we have negative is that portions are too generous no matter which menu we choose from, and that includes the Children’s Menu! A big Thank-you to all at the Lodge.

    I visited Dune with my father and my grandson for Sunday lunch. We all had a very enjoyable meal. It was good to get extra gravy without having to ask. The portions were good and included several vegetables. My 4 year old grandson was also very well catered for. The staff were all very good. We will certainly visit again.

    Lovely experience. We had the Peter Pan afternoon tea and it was delicious! We also loved the added touch that £1 per afternoon tea is donated to St Ormond Street Hospital! The display was lovely with lots of fun details. We went on Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t too loud or crowded. We were celebrating a birthday and we received a birthday card and a little chocolate treat with a candle in on the arrival of our tray. Staff were polite and attentive. Highly recommend.
