Founded in 2014 in Chicago by cousins Jared Rouben (Brewmaster) and Jeremy Cohn (CEO), Moody Tongue is built on the philosophy of culinary brewing, appealing to those with a discerning palate or, as Rouben describes, a "moody tongue."     14 Parish was DELISH!! I loved the vibe and the soft music was a treat. My food was amazing, flavorful, cooked perfectly! And our host and server Jasmine was THE BOMB! SO SUPER cheerful, knowledgeable about the selections and her service was great! I'm already ready to go back for a visit.

    Tonight I had the great pleasure of dining at Virtue to celebrate my husband’s birthday. From the time we walked in the door, nothing but five-star service. The food was great! Thoroughly enjoyed the gumbo as an appetizer. The greens and cornbread are always a hit! My husband ordered the fried green tomatoes and the chicken liver mousse! He said they were both great, especially the mini cakes served with the mousse. He had the fish and grits and loved it. We both ordered drinks, he had an Old Fashioned and I had a Sidecar, both, top tier! It was his first visit to Virtue and he said it wouldn’t be his last! If you haven’t been to Virtue, what are you waiting for?!?!? If you have been, go back! Enjoy!

    Service was good this time. They need consistency. Never know what you’re going to get. Food was very good. Cornbread needs work and the short ribs were less than lukewarm warm. Probably sitting waiting on fried chicken as that was piping hot.
