At Austin's, we've been cooking the old fashioned way since 1994. We start with the freshest ingredients we can find, delivered to our kitchen each day of the week. We make everything on our menu from scratch, every day. We grill over hardwood, not gas, the way that it was a long time ago. It may not be the fastest or least expensive way to do business, but for us, it is the only way. We want each meal you enjoy with us to be a memorable and delicious one; so we work hard preparing each dish to order, smoking ribs and brisket, filleting fresh fish, hand cutting steaks, preparing homemade soups daily and baking our fresh breads and desserts. Let's start with the service. Agatha was superb! Her professionalism and personality started and completed the experience at a five-plus star level. The wine and cocktails were perfect. I had a Hot Toddy, and my wife had a great wine. Soup: The chicken noodle soup was the best I have ever had in a restaurant, and the French Onion was top-notch. Dinner: The Lemon Parmesan Chicken was outstanding. The Chicken and Kale Salad was made to perfection. This was our anniversary, and they brought us ice cream with Kalua syrup to cap off a great dining experience.

Food is always great as usual which is why we come back. The service however wasn't the greatest this time around, we had a baby with us and the waitress hardly came around. As a party of only 4 adults + 1 baby and a reservation I think it's unacceptable for us to be there for just over 2 hours.. Then to be given the bill & not come back, I had to go find someone to close it out they proceeded to go look for the waitress for us.
