Situated in the historic village of Aylesford, The Hengist is a modern restaurant and bar, a short walk from the river's edge.The 16th Century building stands with original features, offering a perfect balance of elegance, heritage and modernity all surrounded by manicured gardens. The Hengist offers a range of dining options including a casual dining option on the ground floor and two more formal dining rooms upstairs along with outside terrace dining in our gardens. Great menu, small but perfectly formed. Everything we had was delicious particularly the beef raviolo starter and the cauliflower velute. The staff were lovely and the service excellent. A great place for a celebration or just a lovely dinner out.
