Coombe - The Melba Estate es un establecimiento de origen inigualable que ocupa la antigua casa de Dame Nellie Melba. El restaurente ofrece una experiencia cultural y gastronómica única, con 2,8 hectáreas de jardines impresionantes e instalaciones preciosas, las cocheras restauradas y la torre del reloj. Our award winning single vineyard wines are curated from our 20 year old vineyard. Varietals include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. All wines are grown, made and bottled onsite. Our wines are bold and distinctive. They are gutsy, authentic expressions of their terroir. Tokar Estate wines are well structured but retain the elegance the Yarra Valley is renowned for. They are nurtured from vineyard to bottle by winemaker Martin Siebert and the Tokar family.The vineyard is hand tendered by our small team using a minimal intervention approach to winemaking. Since 2012 we have reduced cropping levels to ensure exceptional fruit is produced, and we have implemented more sustainable vineyard practices, such as minimising herbicide use in order to encourage soil microfauna and native grasses that harbour beneficial insects.Stop by for a tasting of our wines and enjoy a glass or two out on our beautiful lawn overlooking the vineyard.

    Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The meal was AMAZING. Presentation was beautiful, flavors were tantalizing, and the venue is in the middle of the most beautiful gardens. A perfect experience from start to finish. Can't recommend highly enough.

    The whole experience was memorable. The service was excellent and the food was unusual and well presented. Sitting under an umbrella out on the terrace looking out over the roses to acres of grapevines and the distant Yarra Ranges made me feel as if I was in Italy. Almost perfect!

    We had recently moved to the area and I was browsing for nice restaurants to celebrate a family birthday. The restaurant was lovely, home cooked fresh food. Friendly staff. Will definitely be going back

    We had an absolutely lovely experience at Tokar Estate. The wine tasting experience with cheese platter was nothing short of sensational and the service from the staff was first rate.

    I wished I remembered the person serving us at the Cellar ( she was at the counter taking our orders) Our booking was at 12.45pm on Sat, 20th Jan. I just loved her personality, her knowledge of the history of the place and Melba’s family history ( blonde short hair) Every was really friendly and attentive to everyone that day. Well done to all the staff at the Cellar door
