Food was excellent. Service from Carlos was excellent & didn't feel rushed. The volume was low so you could hear your conversations. They sat us at a table near the window with view of the patio which was nice. I'd say the only criticism where drinks are a little pricey and valet $ for being so close to the door.

La Dolce Vita used to be our favorite Resturants but after our last 2 visits that has changed. We first noticed the change a few months ago during the summer. Al the old staff were gone replaced by a much younger staff who did a fine job but the food was not what we had come to expect but we chalked it up to even the best can have a bad day. We came back on New Year’s Eve and while the service was excellent the food was just bad. My wife’s Veal Scallopini was unrecognizable, the meat was tough and tasteless, the potatoes black and mush. My lasagna was terrible , drowned in a ton of bad sauce, a ton of tasteless ground meat set between a couple of soggy noodles. Very sad. We heard that ownership or management has changed but for sure something is Gonig on in the kitchen that needs attention

We had a delightful meal. Ricco was a great server. Our only complaint was that the Arancinis were not competitively priced. $22 for this appetizer was not representative of the rest of the menu.

Page was a wonderful server! She was able to answer all of our menu questions and gave us ample time to decide our order. The food was fantastic. We will be back again!

Three of five fully enjoyed their meals. The veal, unfortunately, resembled a veal steak instead of scallopini, way too thick to fully enjoy the sauces. Still one of our favourite places when we are in Detroit.

The charcuterie board was very average. The salad was old and wilted. The dinners were good. Great sea bass.

Great atmosphere from the beautiful display of lights outside welcoming you to the seating in the front room. Our entrees were all delicious, well prepared – the appetizer of calamari was a bit over fried and tough tochew but everything else ordered was very good. The drink menu is amazing right now. Our server was outstanding. It was a great place to enjoy a meal with good friends during the holidays.
