The service we received was very poor. I asked 2 different people - including our server - to bring us some bread with our meal but we never received any. However, we were charged for the bread on our bill which we ensured was adjusted since we didn't received any. I was the designated driver and had Americano coffee when drinks were ordered; however I was never again asked if I would like more coffee. We had water to drink as well and our water was refilled once during a 2+ hour meal. I actually drink my wife's water since she was enjoying wine and my water glass had been empty for some time. Our server was pleasant enough but it seemed we saw her so seldom. We were never asked how our meal was during the time we were eating as it would have given us the opportunity to again ask about receiving the bread we had asked for. It was our first visit to La Brezza and we certainly weren't motivated to visit their on future occasions. We tipped our server $25 on a $168 bill (~15%) (I get frustrated when your tipping options are 18% or 20% or other). We tipped more out of a spirit of Christmas vs what did the server really deserve. Just want to be honest about our experience. Thank you.

La Brezza is a great spot for date night. Amazing Italian food and great service. The calamari is a must have.

Excellent service and delicious food as usual. Wife and myself went for a quick date night as we had free babysitting. Has the pasta platter. Tons of food and got to try more than 1 pasta each.

Wonderful family run Italian restaurant. The Calamari is excellent and three of us had veal and one of us had sea bass. We all enjoyed our meal.

If you read all the positive reviews and believe them , you'll have a wonderful evening. There are always exceptions and ours was one of them. Perhaps it was just because of the busy Christmas period.

The Food was fantastic. The atmosphere was a bit disappointing as with knee replacements it was hard to do stairs to basement. It was a bit squishy in basement but the evening was so nice and food was fantastic. I would go again but request table on upper floor.

The best Espresso Martinis! We had the Gnocchi and the Truffle Fettuccine. 11/10 for both dishes. You will certainly not be disappointed. We decided this is our new favourite restaurant in Calgary!
