    Un excelentisimo lugar para comer tomar fotos y pasar un momento agradable y los trabajadores son una linduras de personas super amables todo fue un 10/10

    The food at Kula Lodge is consistly good but their service is poor. Literally timed our food as it sat under the heat lamp for nearly 15 mins before they brought to our table. Rather than serving the salad and soup first, they came after the entree. Not the best service experience.

    We ate outside on the terraced tables and the view of the Kula Lodge Gardens and the Maui valley below were fantastic. A little stream cascaded past the tables and made a very pleasant sound. We had pizza made in a wood fired pizza oven and all the food was great. We will be back with more friends and family.

    Kula Lodge has one of the best views on Maui and even though we live here, we will never tire of it. This was a destination I always made sure was on my list when I would visit Maui before we moved here We typically go for brunch so we can enjoy the garden and scenery. Native plants and flowers overflowing. Beth was our wonderful server, and she always has a warm smile and kind words for every guest. Along with other long-time server, Meghan, you’ll always be treated like ohana. The menu is diverse and delicious. There’s definitely something for everyone, and the hollandaise on the Benedict is some of the best I’ve had. (I always shamelessly ask for extra) Brunch isn’t brunch without a mimosa or two, but don’t miss the espresso martini. The flavor is unlike any I’ve ever had. I always love to chat with pizza chef Jeff who’s operating the kiawe-wood-fired pizza oven if he’s in town for the winter. Just the nicest person. I love the Kula Lodge and I will return as long as it exists.

    Our party if 6 went to Kula Lodge for breakfast—a tradition we started in the late 80’s when we spend time on Maui. We love the food, especially the hot chocolate. The view is gorgeous, the food delicious, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend you drive to Kula and eat here during your visit to Maui. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    The food good not great. The prices was expensive. Our waiter was good not great. He said they were understaffed. His help was not good. We asked for a plate for our salad and it never came. Overall I would give it a C+.

    We love to support this local restaurant and love the beautiful location and vibes. We had gone for Thanksgiving and the Thanksgiving feast was a little mediocre for the price but the full menu was available so that was my mistake for ordering. For NYE, we discovered they were ONLY offering the set menu for $185 pp cost. I was a little disappointed with the choices (no vegetarian options). I was still feeling optimistic and didn't want to admit my mistake is choosing this restaurant for NYE so forged ahead. The "prawn bisque" was lukewarm and there were a few small shrimp ( not prawn) floating in it. The second course goat cheese terrine was good if you eat goat cheese. The beef wellingtons were a festive option, but were just a thick slice of beef with with the pastry around it- not the fanciest presentation. Unfortunately, I had eaten half of my Maine lobster before I realized the meat in the body of the lobster was raw. I didn't want to send it back when I had already eaten the claw meat. We asked for bread/butter for the meal as I was still hungry (!) and ironically charged $5 for this. And to top off the whole experience, there was quite and awkward interaction with the sommelier. it started out as understandable ( he questioned my son's age and my son didn't have his wallet with him as he wasn't driving) but then got very preachy. We did ultimately produce proof of my son's age but it was pretty uncomfortable I must say. Point taken! Our $1000 New Year's Eve experience was disappointing and the food was not worth the price! Some of the mistakes in cooking could be forgiven if they weren't asking high end prices and the small upcharge for bread was a little annoying in this situation. We were offered tickets for the party hour before midnight but we did not return for the event. In the future, I will definitely research the menu ahead of time and pass if it is another fixed menu. We likely will just stick to their outdoor dining.

    We attended Kula Lodge for New Year’s Eve for the dinner. I was disappointed in the food and service. We definitely will not be going back.
