                                      I don’t usually post or complain, but I’m taken back by the way the waitress treated our table. First off, she asked us if we were on one check and we said no. She said or great! We told her who was on what check. Then when asking about things on the menu, she was really rude and sarcastic! I’m thinking what the heck?!? When were done, she asked for some plates we were handing her some and she said not that many!!! I saw a manager come by and I asked if they had coat hooks to hang our coats and he said no. I suggested that some other restaurants have coat hooks on the side of the booth wall and acted so annoyed with me and walked away, instead of saying oh that’s a good idea or something? Such a bizarre experience. Three mom’s with their daughter’s having a fun dinner and wasn’t so fun!😞

                                      Overall, our experience was a positive one. The noise level was just right as we were easily able to have a conversation. The lighting was also very good as we sat next to the windows on the porch. Our waitress was very attentive.

                                      We loved Kona but are now searching to find a new family restaurant. Arrived at 6 with reservations, we received our food at 7:15pm. The restaurant was at best, half full, and that’s being generous with a head count. Server got our drink order, but after that, we had to continually catch her attention for more drinks. It was like she was on the other side of the building and occasionally, would swing by our table. Not sure what happens in the food prep area, but there were more people there than on the floor, and still quite a wait for dinner. Restroom had no hand towels and appeared to not have been serviced in hours. Prices have increased exponentially and serving sizes much smaller. For the price, amount, value, and service, we are moving on.

                                      Came in to my reservation a little early. No problems getting in. They encouraged me to sit in the heated bar area, which we have sat in before. Was a mistake to do, because our table was so sticky everything including us, stuck to it. Table is too small and not level. What appeared to be the manager was walking around, "you are cut, you are cut". In the mean time i have a table for 4 that was sitting there, no water, no drinks, no interface with anyone other than our hostess for over 10 minutes. We were discussing walking out and heading to Saltgrass, when we finally got some water. was another 10 minutes to get a michelob ultra and a lemonade. The service did slightly improve as dinner went on, but we did not get the complete sushi menu until we asked for it. This used to be my wife and I's favorite place in Village Point. It has now become a severely overpriced sports bar, but with lesser service. The place has slowly gone down hill the last 10 years, and this was the last straw for our family. It was one of the few places we could get sushi for those in the family who preferred that, yet others could still get a decent meal. On the hunt for a new place out west with Sushi and Steak.

                                      From the check-in with the host, to our amazing server to the great quality of our meal this experience was 10/10 My stir-fry entree was incredible and for dessert the warm butter cake is delicious.

                                      A young man was our server. He was so nice and friendly. The Philadelphia roll was great and the other sushi too, as well as my white wine. Unfortunately, we were seated by the kitchen and we could hear a lot of loud talking coming from there.
