    We LOVE this place! Such a great vibe, and comfortable atmosphere. The food and service are excellent. I was celebrating my birthday and the staff actually gave me a signed birthday card! I highly recommend Ida Clair for a special occasion.

    Our service was incredible. The server was warm and inviting and had great recommendations. The food was amazing and had a lot of great flavor.

    We made a reservation through the app and had to wait 25 min, while watching people that just arrived be seated. Based on the time of our reservation and arrival it would be impossible for their reservation to be before ours. Once we were sat our waitress rarely checked in on us. We wanted to order desert and coffee after we ate but there was no one to ask or order from. A minor thing but still a showing of poor service is that she left the appetizer plates throughout the service. It was a big deal but it was showing of the lack of care or detail. I couldn’t even enjoy the burger because I needed additional condiments but, who would I ask for them.

    Celebrated my birthday today at Ida Claire’s - the staff, the server and food was EXCELLENT!!! Such a great experience today! Skipped the brunch and ordered the collard greens and jalapeño cornbread - absolutely delicious!!!

    Our waiter was lovely. Very attentive and friendly. Love the vibe. We started with Fried Green tomatoes, Crawfish corn fritters, and the Crab cake. The friend green tomatoes tasted like they had been fried in old oil. The Crawfish corn fritters were tasty but were overcooked. They were dark brown close to black - burnt. The crab cake was terrible. Very fishy taste - all 5 people in our party tasted it and said it tasted funny so we left it. My daughter ordered grilled chicken - it had blood running out of it when she cut it open. We sent it back to be done a bit longer but when she got it back it still had blood in it so my daughter did not eat it (and did not want to send it back as by then we were all but done eating). The Lobster mac and cheese was nice. My husband and brother in law had a steak at $44 a piece but they said it was very ordinary and meh! Certainly not $44 worth. Such a pity as the staff are lovely. The ambience and vibe is great. Such a quaint restaurant. It used to be my favorite restaurant but last night was a big disappointment esp as we took visitors from Australia!
