    We have been loyal patrons of Ida Claire for nearly a decade, consistently enjoying our visits and always tipping generously for excellent service. However, our perception of the restaurant drastically changed during our recent visit, which happened to be our wedding anniversary. While the waitress attended to neighboring tables with a smile, she approached ours with visible annoyance and conspicuously avoided serving us throughout the meal. Even when we requested a to-go box, her demeanor remained cold and she handed it over without a word. This experience left us questioning whether there might be a prejudiced assumption about Asian patrons and tipping practices. The contrast in treatment was stark, and it was the first time we felt discriminated against at Ida Claire.

    Food was so good and our server was great. My client however said that the hostess was so rude to him and this client is so low maintenance. Never makes a fuss about anything. Said the hostess was flippant and walked off while he was waiting to tell her with whom he was having lunch. When I got there, I stood up front for a while and she never appeared. I ended up finding my client because he hailed me down. Just not a great greeting

    Great place . This was my first time and I reserved for 8 people but one did not make it so 7 of us had a great time. The starters was great. I just couldn’t remember all that we ordered. The gumbo was fantastic and my husband ordered blackened tilapia that’s was delish. I tried Ida froze was amazing.

    The fried chicken was not good. Whenever a plate passed by it looked good. Mine was way overcooked. The other dishes were good.

    We LOVE this place! Such a great vibe, and comfortable atmosphere. The food and service are excellent. I was celebrating my birthday and the staff actually gave me a signed birthday card! I highly recommend Ida Clair for a special occasion.

    Our service was incredible. The server was warm and inviting and had great recommendations. The food was amazing and had a lot of great flavor.

    We made a reservation through the app and had to wait 25 min, while watching people that just arrived be seated. Based on the time of our reservation and arrival it would be impossible for their reservation to be before ours. Once we were sat our waitress rarely checked in on us. We wanted to order desert and coffee after we ate but there was no one to ask or order from. A minor thing but still a showing of poor service is that she left the appetizer plates throughout the service. It was a big deal but it was showing of the lack of care or detail. I couldn’t even enjoy the burger because I needed additional condiments but, who would I ask for them.
