The roasted corn was cold and served dry, the spinach was not tasty, and the baked potato was lukewarm. As for the fried catfish it was tasteless.

Excellent food with a cool cowboy atmosphere. The salmon was very flavorful. Will definitely return.

The wait staff was great but the food was not good at all. The burnt ends were like rubbery fat and cold and the kind waitress took them off the bill because she even said they looked awful. The salad was swimming in water it was not even edible and the steak was just border line okay, even the couple next to us said the same thing. It was sad because we don’t come to Fort Worth often and when we have in the past it was excellent and this was our go to place.

It took a while to get waited on after we sat down. Brunch portions for the Chicken Fried Steak are quite small for the price & hash browns are extra. The eggs & Chicken Fried Steak tasted like Mexican Food. Were out of flap jack at opening. Biscuits were hard as a rock. Cinnamon rolls were different & way over priced! Cute atmosphere with a real cowboy feel. Too bad it was lacking what matters most. Side note-women’s bathrooms were filthy at 11a.m. with trash overflowing.

We try to drive down the hour from Pilot Point, Tx at least once or twice a year. There are a lot of very fabulous restaurants in the stockyards and downtown Fort Worth. We have grazed at many of them. My sister and I are native from Fort Worth. The smoked sirloin and the prime rib and the ribs are wonderful. I am not a big fan of bake potatoes, the are kind of cliche. but theirs are wonderful we never get to dessert since the portions are huge. You can split any of their entrees. Service is always kind and careful. worth the price and the drive of 45 miles for us
