It had been years since we dined there and decided to today. Still, very beautiful dining experience.

Josh the Bartender was excellent. He is very hospital and gave good recommendations. We almost stayed at the bar. Nina was a great waitress. Overall experience was perfect. Will definitely be back!!!

We had high hopes. To enter the restaurant we had to enter through the loud, crowded bar. Granted it was a Saturday night but then we stood waiting behind outer patrons at an empty hostess stand. Unusual for higher end dining. Food was good not great. We have had much better southern food many other times. The best part was the chocolate pecan pie. Not much to complain about; however not much to praise. The review were mixed and we choose to try it anyway and now after experiencing it I wouldn’t recommend.

We were looking forward to our dinner, and overall, the experience was good. The fried chicken and collard greens were great, but the salmon was overcooked on the outside. Luckily, we ordered medium for the interior temperature otherwise, the entire piece would have been overcooked. The wait staff was excellent - our waitress was knowledgeable of the menu, was attentive to our needs, and the busboy was quick to remove empty dishes. Both were very pleasant with lots of smiles. The meal is overpriced for what you receive, so we basically paid for the experience. Now that we have had the experience, we won't return. There are better places to get soul food at a more moderate price. If we want to spend the money, there are better places for fine dining.

Christmas menu was not advertised on restaurant’s website prior to dining. Menu options were extremely limited. Member of my party has food allergies which restaurant could not accommodate to allow selection options worth the cost of 3-course menu options. Disappointed in experience.
