I had a really great experience at Buck & Honey’s Monona today as I always do. This is my favorite B&H, especially with the trees (birches?) behind the bar. This was winter restaurant week and the menu had beef stroganoff which is not normally available but was great! Service was excellent and I had a wonderful meal.

There were 7 in our group and we were seated right away and order taken. Our waiter was phenomenal! The food outstanding! I can’t believe that this awesome restaurant will be closing in August of the year. I’m hoping someone steps up and buys the restaurant and keeps it going.

Steaks were top notch and the warm bread was delicious. My only negative was the pricing on the vegetables, 9 spears of asparagus for $15 was not a value. Great service, 3 different hosts checked on our meal. I would definitely recommend Ruth Chris, just pass on the veggie selections.

The Statehouse is a hidden gem. It has the best view in Madison. The staff is professional and courteous and the food is very good. I highly recommend.

Everyone loved their meal. We highly recommend the crème brûlée
