In 1992, thrown together on Cape Cod by political circumstances none of them could have predicted, four young Yugoslavs founded Pain D'Avignon.Their goal was to recreate the Old World Traditions using baking techniques and recipes barely changed in centuries. Their founding principle: fine breads deserve to be at the center of the dining experience, not a mere afterthought. At their Hyannis bakery, the timeless art of bread making is both revered and respected.     Roadhouse Cafe was excellent. Everybody working there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was on point. The seafood fra diavolo was super fresh. The filet mignon was as food or better than ANY specialty steakhouse - terrific char and sear and perfectly cooked through. A terrific meal....

    Visiting Hyannis from out of state and decided to try Embargo. Definitely one of the best decisions ever. Drinks, food and service were some of the best we've ever experienced. Would make a trip back just to go there again. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try Embargo.

    Second time at this location. Summertime visit was very touristy with an outside bar . During this visit it was quieter as it was towards the end of season. The food and service were both very good despite them being short staffed that evening. Oysters were fresh. The entrees and wine selection was good.
