Bienvenue. Les Bubbles is a Parisian steakhouse on the corner of Wickham and Little Street in Fortitude Valley, forged in the very same building that housed the notorious illegal casino, bath-house and brothel at the centre of the Fitzgerald Inquiry. While the card decks and kerb servers are all but gone, the building’s colourful history remains pinned to every wall. Steak frites – known by many as the national dish of France – is the centrepiece of our menu. We sear the steak to your liking, before serving it with bread, salad, plenty of sauce and bottomless frites. Les Bubbles welcomes all, and as such, both vegetarian and pescatarian eaters will feel right at home. FICK Brewing Company is a local neighbourhood brewery with an indoor bar and a covered outdoor beer garden. The owners are Luxembourgish and Australian so the food is representative of that with the European-style street food such as hand-cut, double-cooked chips with Dutch Mayo, Tarte Flambees (French-style pizzas), Belgian Mussels and chips (Moules Frites), Currywurst (chopped Bratwurst with curry ketchup on chips), Farinata (North Italian chickpea pancake), as well as Wagyu beef burgers. The beer styles mainly hail from Belgium, but a solid Red IPA is on offer as well as a range of other locally produced spirits from all over Australia (including Lark, Hartshorn, and Never Never).All wines are from Hentley Farms in the Barossa Valley.

The Sunday School set menu was delicious. We had the perfect amount of food and each dish was exquisite, in looks as well as taste!

Tried Nonbei for the first time tonight for my belated birthday dinner. Got the $95 Deluxe Buffet and was not disappointed. Now that I’ve done it once and have a better idea of portion sizes and timing, I’ll get better at making the most of our 1.5hr sitting. The sides were good, the meat was excellent. Will do again. Would recommend.

We made an impromptu decision to dine at Mr Mista following a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. The service was great, the food was amazing and the vibe with the retro lighting, mirror balls and DJ pumping was outstanding! Will definitely be a frequent diner. 10/10

Overall lunch yesterday was a very pleasant meal, and I'd like to return. I will definitely recommend the Lobby Bar whenever I can.
