The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. Me and my partner went on a date night and I can not say a bad thing about the stag the staff was amazing the food 10/10 highly recommend.

The waiter was warm and welcoming and we were seated very quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed and decor pleasing. We were a party of 5 and most ordered the beef roast. I am gluten free and fortunately they had a GF option. It was the best roast dinner I have ever eaten out. The meat was perfect as were the vegetables and roast potatoes. The GF Yorkshire pudding was so tasty as was the gravy. No grease on my plate! There were empty plates all round. The puddings were delicious as well. All round a perfect afternoon with my husband ou daughter and grandchildren. Thank you.

Wonderful roast as usual, live the sirloin beef nice and pink, all other a compliments excellent, this is our favourite place for service and roasts, with a relaxed ambience
