An excellent dining experience. From being welcomed at the door to paying the bill and saying goodbye, everything was perfect. The host accommodated us by kindly welcoming us and showing us to our table even though we were a little early. The server guided us through the drink and food menu. She was friendly and helped by making suggestions. The food was impeccably presented and delicious. Overall a great experience and I will make it a point to come back when I return to Toronto. We'll done.

Gastro pubs are one of the most valuable types of restaurants in the city and there is definitely not enough of them. This one remains incredibly valuable as it consistently has great food and great staff. 

Allen’s is an institution for good reason, and the place was packed when we visited on a blustery November Friday night. The menu is full of classics and has something for every diner.

It was excellent. We don’t eat a lot anymore. So my husband and I wanted to split our meal including french fries a wrap and salad. They gave us the whole meal already split so we didn’t have to split it ourselves. The service was exceptional. The food was excellent. 

Best view and great service and food. What more can you ask for. Pisco sour?
