We enjoyed our lunch at the Star. I am vegetarian so I particularly appreciated having a very good vegetarian dish. The service was excellent and the staff were very tolerant of my learning disabled sister and her habit of doing a jigsaw while waiting for food! We felt very comfortable.

The service was great. Food was delicious. The absence of vegetables as part of the meal was disappointing. Also seasonal veg not available as a side. The chef very kindly prepared some extra veg which was much appreciated.

Enjoyed a delicious Valentine’s Day tasting menu. High quality food and friendly service. Dining room is intimate but big enough to be relaxing.
