Tucked away on Lafayette Park, just a block from the downtown and seaport neighborhoods of Salem, MA, The Babe is the perfect place to rendezvous after work for a cocktail, grab a bite with friends, or get together for a late night celebration. We take pride in our scratch kitchen with a menu inspired by Northeast sandwich culture and cuisine; touching on fan favorites from Philly to NY, and of course, Boston! Our menu includes specialties like house-ground cheese burgers, loaded Italian subs with freshly sliced salumi, crispy and cheesy mozzarella pockets, crispy wings, and more. The dining room and bar have a casual but intimate feel with high ceilings, updated vintage architectural features, and warm deco-lighting. The Babe also features live performances several nights a week as well as a cozy backyard patio in the warm weather season. Anthony's is friendly and warm, and has excellent food. It reminds me of the way restaurants used to be with the doorman, the well dressed greeter, and the tuxedo clad waiters. They treat you like they really appreciate you being at their restaurant. It is rather special. The sirloin steak was perfectly cooked and it was spectacular. We enjoyed our evening immensely.

Our Bartender was excellent! The food was amazing! We got the steak and eggs and the breakfast wrap! Absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait to go back! But the star was the lemon ricotta donuts served warm with homemade jam!!!

Our first experience with Pots, our waiter Joe was great at explaining how everything works. The food was amazing. The broth base alone was delicious. Once we added our meats and vegetables, it took the flavor experience to a new level. Highly recommend. We will be back to eat here as often as we can.

First time visitor. The food was delightful! Shared a buffalo cauliflower and it was amazing! The portion was good size for 2 or more. The pork belly burger was great! Had to take 1/2 home. My friend had theFerby burger and couldn't finish hers either. Will be back for sure!
