The Manor’s Restaurant serves rustic fare in an elegant setting with a focus on homemade, comforting cooking. Outstanding food, great value for money and very friendly. My 88 year old father who is hard of hearing ,had no usual problems of joining in the conversation. He really enjoyed the occasion. Thank you.

Last minute decision to go out for dinner and decided to give The Ship in Distress a try and didn't regret it. Superb service, friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and well presented. Overall very good and will be back. Many thanks.

Great meal in lovely location. Restaurant elegant with a relaxed atmosphere. Menu not large but had a good varied choice. Food well cooked and beautifully presented. Reasonably priced. Only criticism would be the lack of vegetables with the meal - they were more of a garnish. Would have liked a side dish of veg especially as the meat portions were quite large. Would definitely recommend.

A stunning first visit to The Oaks! The Cheese Soufflé is phenomenal. We dined on a Wednesday night so took advantage of the 2 steaks offer - absolutely perfect steak with great accompaniments and wine included. Winner. Lovely staff, super friendly and a gorgeous venue too. We will be back next time we visit the South Coast for sure!
