We had a lovely dinner with my in laws. The staff was attentive but not overbearing, the cocktails were delicious (they even pleased my FIL!), and the food was outstanding - I especially appreciated the human portion sizes so we didn’t have to take leftovers! We had the gravlax, Caesar with pickled herring, lamb roast, scallops and bison, and all were really tasty!

Fantastic experience overall—service, food, and setting. The Steakhouse is an experience on its own and a wonderful spot for a very nice dinner. It was easy to have a conversation and enjoy the company and food. Highly recommend the Denver Steak!

Our visit to 801 Chophouse on Monday the 23rd of December was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we were greeted at the front desk to saying our goodbyes as we picked up our coats the experience was one of joy and delight. The staff was great. The quiet tone in the restaurant was inviting/comforting. The drinks hit the spot, including the Penicillin cocktail, which isn’t a “typical” beverage but was spot on. Our food was amazing and the steaks are some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you to the staff of 801 – Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Food is always good. We especially liked the Italian ice cream sundae! What a treat!

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.
