We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. Our bar and bistro has gained a reputation for a wide range of beers and spirits coupled with an excellent selection of wines and champagnes. Close to The Grand Opera House and city centre, Plonkers is an ideal place to meet with friends or colleagues for a relaxed drink.Weekends at Plonkers can have a party atmosphere where you can relax after work with friends. Upstairs seats approximately 26 but we can cater for buffets for around 40 people with some standing. Based in the Norton, just across the River Derwent from the market town of Malton you will find the Derwent Arms. Run by experienced couple Simon & Charlie alongside our team of staff we are the perfect place to sit back and enjoy our delicious menu with your favourite drink in hand. For the warmer days we’ve got 2 large beer terraces to the front & rear of the pub and those darker nights we dim the lights, set the ambience and make sure everything’s to our customers satisfaction.Whether it be a light lunch from our smaller plates menu served Monday- Friday 12-5pm or a two course set meal from our evening set menu served Monday- Wednesday 5-8pm we’ll be more than happy to accommodate you.
