The afternoon tea was great, i would have been nice if the christmas menu was already out especially with the winter illuminations down the road, it makes a whole day of festive experience

Welcoming staff, great food and good value. A firm favourite.

Pleasant surroundings and ambience. Big group of sweary rugby types just inside the door slightly off putting but further in its a pleasant family pub. Decent selection and the roast beef was spot on and we didn’t have to wait too long. Less than £90 for family of four including tip, very good value these days.

I visited the restaurant for the first time with my wife, 8pm on a Friday. The restaurant was quite busy. There was a live singer which gave a nice atmosphere, although it could be too loud for some people, we quite enjoyed it. The service and food were very enjoyable and we were talking about when we would come back next. 3 courses each, a side of garlic bread and a bottle of wine for £135 inc service. Would thoroughly recommend
