We've certainly started 2025 very positively by going to Naughton's for lunch today! I couldn't wait to get back there. Everything was perfect about the experience. I really enjoyed my dish of fettuccini with its interesting flavours! And my husband's battered fish and chips didn't disappoint - it's his favourite! Thank you again Naughton's - you are such a gem! We dined today at the Ascot Vale Hotel and all enjoyed the excellent value 'Tradies Lunch'. At $25 for the meal including a glass of wine and a drink, it is great value. I highly recommend the Barramundi and chips!! But, more importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Isaac was our 'Main Man' and he looked after the 5 of us very well. A very nice guy and we all appreciated his delightful sense of humour! Keep up the great work guys! PS: I have a bit of skin in the game, having been a barman for 3 years when completing my degree at Victoria Uni (ex FIT).

I absolutely loved the ambience! Subtly posh and quietly romantic. The jazz band serenading us from the bar downstairs was a fine touch. Our waiter was extremely personable and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely fantastic for the price point and I was very pleasantly surprised by the chef's choice of ingredient combinations. My girlfriend and I order the Chef's 9-course dinner and every single plate was well thought-out and meticulously crafted. My favourite was the beef claypot rice; the beef was fall-apart succulent and flavourful. 10/10 would recommend for a nice date night or special event - you will not be disappointed!

The kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food and there were lots of GF options available. Waiter was excellent and very helpful. There was no push to get rid of us so we were able to sit around after our lunch chatting. Definitely heading back for another visit.
