Meraki Restaurant & Bar, offers modern Greek, Mediterranean cuisine, an extensive wine list and expertly crafted cocktails. Close to Oxford Circus & Goodge Street stations, housed in Fitzrovia, an area steep in history, now buzzing with bohemia as a popular dining destination. Meraki features contemporary interior, the atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Signature dishes include the ‘Seafood Giouvetsi’; Succulent, tender lobster meat, prawns and squid are delicately cooked, nestled into a bed of orzo pasta and beautifully enhanced with a rich tomato sauce, infused with lemon zest. Peter Waney opened Meraki in 2017, after seeing a gap in the London market for premium Greek cuisine. Culinary Director Sanjay Dwivedi joined the family early 2022 to help expand Meraki globally, working with the talented chefs, to elevate the menu, for a fresh, mouth-watering gastronomical experience.

A London institution for around three quarters of a century, Fitzrovia’s Elysée Restaurant has provided an elite Greek dining experience since 1936. Still boasting all the classical elegance of the thirties, Elysée has nonetheless moved with the times, adding a sumptuous cocktail bar and glorious roof terrace with its own retractable roof to its already rather fabulous dining room and pretty garden area. A secretive unmarked door in Drunch on Great Titchfield Street opens onto one of the Capital’s most enticing hidden spaces. Descending the stairs the basement opens out into one large cave with vaulted ceiling, a bar and DJ desk as well as two smaller caves tucked away under separate arches. The decor expertly juxtapositions the raw 200 year old brickwork with a modern contemporary design and luxurious fixture and furniture. With capacity for up to 50 people, guests can enjoy a mediterranean sharing style menu as well as a range of quirky and theatrical cocktails accompanied by a state-of-the-art sound system playing a range of fun, uplifting deep house and dance music. The first stage of evolution began with a complete renovation of the building. Of the major structural changes, the most significant included repositioning of the staircase leading to the basement.
