Great service. Food was excellent. The place was in a great location with plenty of parking on the green.

Excellence on all levels. The menu selection is varied and interesting, the option for a 2 or 3 course set lunch offers great dishes and really good value. The food is beautifully cooked and presented, showing real care. The warm welcome from the owners and staff is genuine. Service is attentive, knowledgeable and discreet. We really can't fault The White Hart, and now consider it to be our favourite eating spot.

Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning, plenty of availability for a last minute booking. Food was exceptional and the service was great. We will definitely visit again.

Fabulous food, home cooked. Lovely setting, bar, restaurant and outside area for al fresco dining.

The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
