The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years.     Booked a table in the barn on a lunchtime .. great choice of menu in immaculate surroundings .. room was very warm and cosy considering the outside temperature ( freezing) !!! Service was excellent & so was the food .. staff very friendly & professional.. would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back !!!

    The food was amazingly delicious. The three mezze I had I couldn’t recommend enough, oyster wings, manti dumplings and arayes. My favourite was the arayes. For dessert I had the baklava which was great with an espresso. The perfect place to introduce your non-vegan friends to amazing vegan food. #Veganuary

    Really fabulous meal Polite and good service You can hear each other talk despite being busy as the music is low ( great ! ) Only minor criticism was the loos - could be a bit cleaner but the restaurant was really busy .

    This was our first visit to Lilliput Farmhouse Kitchen and it certainly did not disappoint ! The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty ….it was my husband’s birthday and we were offered a complimentary mulled wine which was a bonus …we will certainly be back
