Both restaurants boast an extensive menu of fresh fish that we offer to cook in a variety of ways to suit every palette. For many years, William had wanted to open his own restaurant & finally he has. "The Cart Shed".Showcasing the best of local and seasonal food, much of which will have been produced on the family farm, but we aim not to travel more than 10 miles for any of our ingredients (except for the odd exotic like lemons for your G&T).We have rejuvenated the horticultural side of the farm. Along with poultry, quail and squab pigeons the farm is providing much of the food served in the restaurant.William & his friends will also be out with their guns & fishing rods to provide a little wild meat for the table such as venison, partridge, trout not to mention the humble wood pigeon and rabbit.After a couple of years of interruption caused by COVID & life things are now back to normal with a new team & a newly refurbished restaurant.We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Been coming here for 30 years always excellent- we had set menu, such great value for money, top class service and beautiful restaurant! I love the glasses used at table, cutlery is just right and the art work is fab!! Coming back next week!! Thank you as always.

As always, the meal was excellent. It was an 'old' school friends reunion, the extensive menu catered for all of our tastes. The service again as always leaves other eateries in the shade, friendly, unobtrusive, but on hand if we needed anything. Thank you to Gareth, Kate, and the team we all enjoyed our lunch. Ps..... lovely to see you today Gareth x

Third visit to The Cart Shed with friends this time and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to take more friends and family to eat here!
