A wonderful visit to a fabulous restaurant where my Mum and Dad had their Silver Wedding anniversary celebration on 1st July 1966. I'd always promised my wife and daughter I would take them for a celebration of our own - and 58.5 years later I did! Such a special evening for us. Such a wonderful trip down memory lane. Thank you to all at The Compleat Angler.

A delight - no wonder it's busy! A lovely environment - very modern and clean, light and inviting. Very friendly and efficient staff, very good burgers and cake, excellent value and so so dog friendly with water, treats and even a dog walk on site. Plenty of parking - we will be back. Shame it's not closer otherwise I could go every week.

Another wonderful visit. Friendly welcome, shown to the table straight away and with drinks orders shortly after. Due to the great weather it was busy outside which added to the staff business but still served in good time. Food was fantastic, the sharing roast platter went down very well. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Another excellent trip to El Cerdo. Delicious food and so nice to sit outside in the sun looking out on The Thames

Great early evening meal with my teenage grandchildren. Plenty of choice on the menu friendly but unobtrusive service, casual ambience. Recommended.
