A place that feels like home.. I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... We're humble, both in our service and in our food, and pretentiousness and oversized egos were banished from the premises the day we started trading. The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. Did the feed me menu. Great variety. Fresh and novel. Maybe came out a little fast but not a major issue. Small but excellent wine menu. Excellent service.

We were 4 for lunch. The share plates enabled the option to try and taste a variety of dishes. A better way than selecting one and admiring what is on the plate of fellow guests.

We had a lovely dinner on a Thursday night with family. Staff were engaging, friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding and had something for everyone's taste. Staff were happy to recommend dishes and they did not disappoint. The restaurant was quiet as it was a Thursday night but this suited us perfectly as we were able to chat easily. The desserts were also delicious and they were happy to provide extra plates and spoons so we could share. The restaurant has a cosy ambience and we will definitely return... soon!

The staff at Jimmy Rum were so accommodating. They assisted us with our birthday cake, and the live band even sung happy birthday! It was a welcoming, and comfortable environment. With a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Food and drinks were delish! Highly recommend.

Overall good .Could be a better range with the wine inc price point . Bit expensive for a cafe . The guy running the place was excellent.Sorted our issues with the wine .
