Dear Valued Customers, The Ambassador Training Restaurant is a TAFE NSW-licensed venue. Demonstrating our reputation as a leader in education and training for hospitality and culinary students, the students practice delivering fine dining food & develop their skills within an operational environment. As we are a licenced venue, BYO is not permitted. All dietary requirements must be advised in advance through your OpenTable platform booking. Meals will be served alternate drop, meaning you will not have a choice from the menu and will have limited facility for alterations. Payments will be made after your meal; we do not accept cash or split bills.We only take reservations via OpenTable. Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea.     The amusee bouche was delicious and welcomed with the bread roll as it took quite a while for the entree to arrive. My husband was not impressed by the salmon entree and left most of it. I enjoyed the ravoli - I could taste the pumpkin middles (usually with ravioli I can't) but I found the creamy sauce a bit too rich and overpowering. My husband really enjoyed the duck main and I quite enjoyed the steak, though it was a bit gristley. I would have preferred less steak and more veg. The creme brulee was delicious. The mocktail was nice. We took home the petit fours which were lovely morsels.

    Had my birthday dinner at the Little Turtle and ordered dishes to share. Loved the variety and value, especially getting dishes like Masaman potatoes that are hard to order as a vegetarian elsewhere. I enjoy the fact that they don't rely on faux meats as well. Great service!
